Portraiture is where photography begins for me. I’m focused on the interaction of people and their environments. Often we are creating the space we inhabit and by seeing the two together we get an inkling to who they are and what kind of world they live in. Now that I’m based in Beijing, China I have a wholly new and compelling environment to understand. My portrait work has been featured in international magazines, newspapers, annual reports, non-profit documentation and marketing campaigns.
